Toe-tapping traditional tunes among the trees!

Posted on

The Badenoch Fiddlers made a triumphal return to Strathmashie last night with a fantastic session of traditional music. After a very rainy evening of Midsummer Music in 2011 and a very spooky Hallowe'en performance, they came back because of our brilliant audiences - who are made of stern stuff and are very appreciative!

On this occasion the sun shone and we were treated to not one, but three dances in the car park; a Gay Gordons, a waltz and a Canadian Barn Dance, on a really lovely evening.

We would like to thank Ali Meade for providing and operating the sound system, the lovely audience and of course, The Badenoch Fiddlers themselves. We have already had lots of requests for a more performance, so watch this space!
