There will be works on the Green trail (Wolftrax to Gorstean) near the Wolftrax car park, the Green trail descent and on the forest road near the telecom mast.

Please be aware of vehicles and machinery along the forest roads.

The Squirrel & Spruce Trail

The Squirrel & Spruce Trail or Red Squirrel is now CLOSED due to harvest operations. The closure is expected to last for most of the winter or until end of March 2023.

 

Update 18th April 2023.

While he harvest operations have finished, there is still machinery onsite and ongoing timber haulage. We we are waiting for Forestry and Land Scotland to advise when the trail will be open to the public.
